This topic has bugged me for a while. I only wear solid scrubs (and would even in pediatrics). I don't have a problem with individuals wearing patterns/prints in pediatrics, but elsewhere it vexes me. I find it quite unprofessional. What do you believe?

I wear patterns often but never cartoons or holiday themed scrubs as they can be perceived as annoying or childish.

I wear solid scrubs however I wear patterned jackets that are also holiday themed. They haven't affected my professionalism and patients..... young and old a like..... love them......I am "known" for them.
If one color is professional my feeling is return to white and caps.
But that is just my opinion.
I'll add something - In a hospital environment, policy may rightfully dictate solid color coding. For example: CNAs - white, RNs - light blue, NPs - dark blue, Physicians - teal, Techs - Maroon, etc.

I've seen all kinds and sorts of scrubs. I think as long as they're clean, not wrinkled, and don't look overwashed(wasted) they look nice even with patterns.

I dislike holiday scrubs. I don't celebrate any man-made holidays. Seeing scrubs with Santa Claus reindeer, "Easter" bunnies, spiders, or witches offend me greatly. Not everyone believes in mainstream holidays. If its inappropriate to discuss politics and religion at work, then it is also inappropriate to wear them on your clothes.

To each his own I suppose. I'm looking for a pair of beautiful hello kitty scrubs. Just the top. As long as my patients don't have a problem with it and my manager doesn't mind I can wear whatever I please. Although I'm not much of a person who dresses for Halloween. I just love Hello Kitty anything but i still wouldn't wear holiday themes Hello Kitty. That's just me

I don't get this... As a Christian it never offends me when I'm wished a happy Chanukah...
This is a little off topic, but the bible doesn't say to celebrate Easter or Christ's birth....only Christ's death. The only "holiday" I attend is Jesus death memorial.
All other holidays, to me, are based in Paganism or falsehoods not rooted in bible principle. So seeing crosses (that the bible states are cursed) and Adorned trees (that the bible says we're to not erect like the Pagans), Easter eggs and bunnies ( originated with Pagan fertility festival) offends me. Its not just a shirt, its a belief system. I could go on but its off-topic.....
