Are there any Oklahoma ABSN students out there?

I would like some information on the program, how do you like it? Would you pick this school again if you had the chance? I am applying to the program that is being held here in San Diego. I am nervous about the online portion of the program, is it do-able? :uhoh3:

I'm wondering how much we are going to be spending during open house, cuz the email says we are required to pay for books and supplies at that time.

I did not attend orientation last semester when I was accepted but I remember getting an email with the book list and the expected cost. For Jan '08 the estimate was about $1200, but that was if you were to buy everything from them...you are allowed to buy from other sources, etc. I think they are estimating supplies, uniforms, books, everything. I have my stethescope and BP cuff, etc already so I am hoping I don't have to spend that much!!! :p

Can't wait to meet you all...is anyone nervous yet? :chair:

I believe it is...not sure though.

Update on financial aid...on the website for OU...http://w3.ouhsc.edu/sfs/

in the FAQ section it says that they begin awarding on May 1st. So I believe we will learn what loans we got after that date. :uhoh21:

Is anyone getting a PDA? I am seriously considering it but don't know what kind to get, etc. I wonder if we'll find out at orientation if they suggest them or not.
