I would like some information on the program, how do you like it? Would you pick this school again if you had the chance? I am applying to the program that is being held here in San Diego. I am nervous about the online portion of the program, is it do-able? :uhoh3:

Great, someone else! :) I applied for January and got in but I turned them down due to health reasons. I plan on re-applying for either June or August. Are you in San Diego?

Is there anyone out there currently in this program (ABSN San Diego OU campus)? If so, do you like it and what has been your experience thus far? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Insuelin, are you applying for the summer? I put in my application and am waiting to hear, I have been told we should know by the end of March.

i put in my application too for the summer. i also applied for jan 08 and was accepted but turned them down cuz of personal issues. i hope we get in. we're going to know by the end of march? I thought it would take 2 months. if its the end of march, thats great.

i really wanna meet students who are in the program right now and ask them how its going especially since it just started in sd.

Yes, I spoke with a counselor and she said we should get an email by the end of March. :yeah: They sent an email and then a letter last time too. You also got in last semester? I felt so dumb not accepting in Jan after applying and getting in also, but I had to deal with personal issues too. So far I haven't been able to find anyone from the program currently, perhaps they have no time for this site. Perhaps we should go to local hospitals and stalk some. I know they wear burgandy uniforms, hahaha! :devil:

yeah, i was thinking about standing outside the hospital and stalking/bugging them to see what the program was like. hahaha. do you know how many people are chosen in each cohort?

it makes sense that they would have no time for this site since all accelerated programs are intense. i hate this period of waiting.

let's go together! haha! :lol2: i remember hearing that 75-80 students were accepted for the fall. but the counselor actually told me that next fall is impacted already as far as # of applicants, but for the summer, they were under so that is good for us! i asked if there was a quota and she said no, ha! i hate waiting as well but i am trying to enjoy this time just working, making money and not studying. where did you get your first bachelor and what is it in?

i went to ucla and majored in bio. graduated 06. where did u graduate from? i wonder why fall is impacted but not summer. maybe its because people are still trying to complete their prereqs or they just don't want to start school in the summer.

i went to ucsd, majored in human development, graduate in 03. took a while to figure out what to do, ha! hey, did you have to do any CLEPs? i took an English Comp one and am waiting to see if i passed that one before i take another english one. that would be the only thing holding me up for a summer start. i am waiting for my results, again, i hate waiting!!!
