Are there any Oklahoma ABSN students out there?

I would like some information on the program, how do you like it? Would you pick this school again if you had the chance? I am applying to the program that is being held here in San Diego. I am nervous about the online portion of the program, is it do-able? :uhoh3:

I heard the same thing, not many people applied (but I heard that in Feb. also) and that for Fall they are already impacted as far as applicants go. Not many people want to start in the summer (I don't blame them) but at least if we all get in we will be done sooner!

i'm originally from hawaii but i've been in sd for about 10 years. i'm taking history right now too.

i'm disappointed to hear that we can only get loans :( the adviser made it sound like we'd get all kinds of financial aid.

Yeah it doesn't bother me so much starting in the summer. I think its better. I think a lot of people just wanted to have that summer break and start fresh in the fall.

I am really interested to know about people who are already in the program. I do know someone who started in January, who graduated with me at State. But I don't talk to her on a regular basis. All I heard from a mutual friend is all she does is study and has no social life what so ever. Which is probably typical of an accelerated program.

It's nice to know that other people are waiting too!! I'm also on the wait list for City and Grossmont. If I take the TEAS, I may be able to start with them in the Fall...but, I don't want to take the TEAS if I don't have to!

I just talked to the adviser in San Diego. She said there was 138 applicants for 72 spots and we should hear back no later then the end of next week.

I remember when I was accepted last semester I got the email on a Friday late in the evening. I will be checking my email all day!!! :typing

What if they wait a little longer though to let us know??? AAAAAHHHHH!!! :scrm:

Thank you for double checking with the counselor. I was going to check but I am sure my many CLEP questions bugged them enough! :lol2:

I can't wait, I am praying for us all that we get in!
