Are there any Oklahoma ABSN students out there?

I would like some information on the program, how do you like it? Would you pick this school again if you had the chance? I am applying to the program that is being held here in San Diego. I am nervous about the online portion of the program, is it do-able? :uhoh3:

Dodgecl, you CLEPed and got SD City to give you credit, right? I just called City and they said it would be 4-6 weeks to get credit!! What?! Did you come across this problem or did you just call them continuously and bug them? I'm thinking of doing the latter. :banghead:

It took a long time for me too. I started bugging them back in February right after I got my CLEP results. It's not a priority for them because we're not technically a degree-seeking student in their program. Good luck!

I have clinicals Fridays 300-1130. im so glad we got that cleared outta the way. now I just need my financial aid letter!!! anyone else receive theres? did anyone talk to kennessa about it? its seriously stressing me out!! haha!

by the way the patches are so ugly! and yes i did buy 2 sets of scrubs. i bought a set for 20 bucks, dickies brand, i bought at the san ysidro outlet

Also allheart.com sells cheap sets for about the same price

try calling the financial aid office tomorrow afternoon or friday because when i called them today, they said they were waiting for the education dept. to send another batch of fafsa applications to them because there was some sort of glitch in the system. i havent gotten my award letter either.

Did anyone hear back on whether we need the 4th or 5th Edition of the physical assessment book?

I don't know if somebody already brought this up, but I noticed on the booklist on the OU website, it says the 5th Edition is required for Physical Assessment.

Looks like the book list they provided isn't correct.

Dear Students:

There is some confusion regarding the books you will require for the summer and fall. Please refer to the list posted to the OUHSC website for the most up to date list. If there are ANY discrepancies between what is posted on the website and what you have on a previous booklist, order what is posted on the website. GREAT! After we already ordered/received the book they tell us this now. I wonder if there is a big difference between the two editions?
