Are there any Oklahoma ABSN students out there?

I would like some information on the program, how do you like it? Would you pick this school again if you had the chance? I am applying to the program that is being held here in San Diego. I am nervous about the online portion of the program, is it do-able? :uhoh3:

I don't think any of you are taking prereq right now but do any of you remember the date Kenessa said she needed the letter from our professors by? If I am correct she said the week of May 26th, that Friday, by noon?

Also, did anyone fill out the waiver? which year did you select? 07-08? or 08-09?

I didn't pay attention to the date, sorry! Email her, I am sure she won't mind, we got a lot of info that day!!

I haven't found out from financial aid either. I hope it comes ASAP because I desperately need it!!!

Hey everyone,

I applied for August, and am obviously still waiting to hear back. For those of you who are alternates... would you mind sharing your GPA info. I'm just kind of wondering where I stand. When I originally met with Kennessa back in December she made it sound like everyone was getting in, and I know that isn't the case anymore. Thanks and good luck to all of you. The wait is killing me!

I got my financial aid letter, did you? I was shocked, they offered me a lot and I did not request extra for living expenses, etc. Now I need to figure out whether or not to accept it all. :D

Does everyone have all their stuff ready for Tuesday? I am still waiting on records from UCSD for my darn tetorifice shot from 2000...I hope its ok if I don't have that by Tuesday! I should email Phyllis, I guess. :uhoh21:

I wonder why you all haven't received yours yet, I got mine on Saturday, perhaps Mother's Day slowed the post office down a bit. They offered a total of $64K with various loans. They allocated $24K to be for housing, which we won't need all of it! And I did not call and ask for living expenses like they suggested we do. I need to speak with someone regarding the aid, if I accept it all, could I repay some of it right away with the excess?

I'm crossing my fingers for all of you that it comes in the mail today. Its in a cream envelope and the paper is pink inside. Its a small, regular letter... Keep your eyes peeled! :coollook:

Thats what they told me too when I emailed them. I'm going to ask Kennessa about it too.

I called the financial aid office just now, and they said that I am in their system, and that I should receive it any day soon? Hopefullly, within the next few days.

Wow 64K seems like a lot? Is that for the entire program? Or for a semester?
