Hello,
I would like some information on the program, how do you like it? Would you pick this school again if you had the chance? I am applying to the program that is being held here in San Diego. I am nervous about the online portion of the program, is it do-able?
Thanks!
I called the financial aid office just now, and they said that I am in their system, and that I should receive it any day soon? Hopefullly, within the next few days.Wow 64K seems like a lot? Is that for the entire program? Or for a semester?
See you all today!
It is for summer, fall and spring, and does not include next summer.
So what did you all think about yesterday? I entered orientation feeling really nervous but left feeling more excited. I think the student panel was the most helpful, it was so nice to hear first-hand how it will be. I had no clue that OU was ranked 3rd and the pass rate was so good, that's great! And finally, knowing my schedule makes me feel better. It is really starting to sink in that soon I will be a nursing student, yay!!
i haven't tried to logon yet but it wouldn't surprise me, LOL.
i thought we were supposed to get our picture badges yesterday, did you? i didn't see where we would have picked that up. i think the patches are really ugly and don't match but oh well. and i understood that the badge would have our name, etc.
I thought the patches were ugly too. I thought they were just going to be the OU logo. I guess they really wanna advertise the program while we're doing clinicals. hehe.
No, I didnt get my ID badge yesterday either. I really liked the student panel. It was very informative. I guess I should say goodbye to most major holidays and having a social life.:uhoh21:
I thought so too, but I didn't even receive my lab coat, they didn't have my size, I needed extra sleeve length, etc so they are mailing it to me.It was nice meeting you! What group are you in? My clinical is Saturday from 3-11:30 (wow!).
Hi Wannabe07!
I was admitted last week! I am in Group 7- Saturday 3-11:30pm as well. I might have met you yesterday, but will definitely see you in a couple of weeks!

I hear you on the social life...I thought maybe I could get away with a weekend trip here or there or a date night on friday or saturday but not now, I have clinical on Saturday nights so there goes Friday too with picking patients, etc. My husband was ok with it though, thought he would be upset. At least its only for one semester though (hopefully!)
I thought the patches would at least match, they stand out a lot! And mine seem to be sewn way up high on the sleeve, looks kind of funny. Oh well, at least I didn't have to sew them on, LOL.

Yay!!! We are the Saturday night club, hahahaha. I met a couple of people yesterday, what's your name? If you don't mind sharing it over the internet. Or you can PM me :)
Congrats on being admitted, you must be thrilled!!
I tried the email and contacted the IT folks. They told me to change my password first, and then log into the email. Here is the link to change the password https://www.ouhsc.edu/it/security/changepassword/changepasswordaction.asp
