Are there any Oklahoma ABSN students out there?

I would like some information on the program, how do you like it? Would you pick this school again if you had the chance? I am applying to the program that is being held here in San Diego. I am nervous about the online portion of the program, is it do-able? :uhoh3:

Not only that but there are books that were on the previous list that are no longer on the new list. :confused:

i am seriously ******... i already spent the money to buy these books that are no longer on this list. wth!!! :banghead:

You know what I found interesting was the books on the Textbook Package that they sold on the first day... has all the books on this "new list."

I feel the exact same way!!! I think they should stick with the list they gave us! I guess I will keep the ones that are no longer on the list until we know for sure and then try to recover some money by selling them.

please hold off on making any book purchases, either initial or re-ordering, until i get back to you. we are working on a solution that will be the best for everyone regarding the issues with our inconsistent booklists. i sincerely apologize for this confusion and will email you with an update as soon as possible.

thank god i saw this before amazon processed my order!!! thanks for posting this, i would have gotten to that email a little later and it might have been too late. i am happy they are fixing the inconsistent lists. :uhoh3:

Im not sure what they are going to do because I am sure the professors already have a curriculum set up based on that booklist online.

The one book that I'm pretty sure we are going to have to get is the Ackley Nursing Diagnosis book. I heard from my nursing friends that it is a must for their clinicals and when doing their care plans. I was surprised not to see it on the list they gave us on the 1st day. But I got it anyway for my own benefit. (Its also on the booklist for people who bought the electronic books)

I wonder how that is going to work.. it is obvious that the people who bought the electronic books will get the books from the booklist online. Because it included the Nursing Diagnosis, and Maternal Nursing which wasn't on our list. =/

Its beyond frustrating. I went solely on the list they gave us at the first orientation so I hope they stick by that! Otherwise, I hope they offer reserve copies or photocopies of chapters assigned of the books that weren't on the list to cover me while my books are ordered or shipped once they let us know. Argh.
