Just a curiosity , are nurses paid cash in any state ?
For example even in Rural hospital , clinics , any doctor's office ?
Are any nurses paid in cash ?
Share your story and what do you think about it .

Daily pay is different than being paid in cash. Paid in cash usually means under the table with no taxes taken out.

Never heard of any profession paying cash unless it is under the table
Everyone needs to have taxes deducted and recorded on paper.
Interesting question though. Where did you get the idea or info from? Just curious. :)

A people I was talking to in Resturant . Who is a bar tender and wetress in Resterunt , told about their tips . and put forward that question for nursing too . Since nursing is service too .

Remember too that "cash" in accounting means beng paid the same day as the service. So if you are paid, even with a check, the same day you provide a service that is a cash transaction. Learned that while I did payroll for MD office once.

It's considered professional misconduct to accept money or tips from a pt or family of pt. Working in a resterunt as a wetress is not really the same service although many pts would like to think so. :chuckle
