Hi
I'm Just curious.
Are you taking prerequisites for an ASN degree or BSN ?
I'm going for an ASN, then bridge to a BSN as well. I do have most of my prereqs done at my local CC, and the nursing school I'm applying to is private (so more expensive) but accepts Straighterline credits, so I am going to take A&P through SL and save a ton of money when by transferring in generals towards the ASN.
ADN (Or ASN?) Unsure hte difference. I think the call it ADN here.
I'm currently going for ADN degree but I'm also getting two degrees in the process as well as near the end of my first degree I'll have a course or two that goes into the BSN degree.
Getting a Associates in Pre nursing and than Associates in Nursing (ADN)

I'm not sure if it's a ADN or ASN
Good luck
Just double checked lol. Still getting familiar with the abbeviations. Its ADN not ASN.
Different programs have different abbreviations. They are the same thing though, and realistically you can use them interchangeably.
ADN = Associate Degree in Nursing
ASN = Associate of Science in Nursing
Both. ADN for now shorter amount of prerequisites for the ADN program. Was going to apply to a BSN program but I missed the TEAS cutoff for one and shy by 1 prerequisite on another. Next year applying again to 3 ADN programs, 2 BSN programs, 1 Physical Therapy Assistant program, 1 radiology technician program, 1 dental hygienist program, and 1 ABSN program if I don't get into the 3 ADN programs this year. If my state had a public LPN program I probably apply to that as well ha.

Yeah you need an associates in nursing to get your BSN. You need to have already taken the NCLEX to do RN-BSN programs.
