Hello everyone,

I am in the process of applying to APU ELM program for Spring of 2019. I was just looking to connect to other applicants. I will be applying to the main campus. If anyone has any questions feel free to post, I have found the older forums from previous cohorts to be very helpful when looking for advice.

@aschreiman I applied to SD campus.

Does anyone know how they will notify us?

I was told it can be via email, phone or mail.

Hey everyone,

My name is Daniel. I just received a call for an interview at the main campus and I will be interviewing on April 10th. I hope to meet all of you soon.

In the past, the San Diego campus has been the first to notify their applicants and then I believe San Bernie and then Main campus. I submitted a paper application and checked all three boxes but they still sent my app to main campus

Thanks guys!! I accepted my spot at Western but if by some miracle I get into APUs spring 2019 cohort then I'd probably just forgo my deposit at Western

congrats! I am sure you have a very good chance of getting into APU's spring cohort, but I understand the rationale behind securing your spot in a very solid program. I'd probably do the same thing!

Hey guys was anyone else's writing prompt topic "choose two people (living or dead) that you would like to have a cup of coffee with any why?"

No not at all. What campus did you apply to??

Mine was summarizing an article about Christian topics both times.

Mine was the same as FNP's. That sounds like it could be fun to answer though, but would make you think a lot more rather than reading an article and summarizing it. Hope it went well!! @doctav

Thanks @inkabruce ! Does anyone know how many points you need during the interview to ensure acceptance? Or what the point system is out of? I saw I received 44points I'm not sure where that puts me.

@doctav I have no clue how many points I have. were you able to see it on the sheet she had in front of her? Maybe @somedayFNP can better answer that since he's gone through this before. She did tell me that she likes older candidates, I'm 31 and had a previous career in finance/business, that generally are more mature and have more life experience. So I'm not sure how they weigh in those kind of variables
