APU ELM Spring 2019

Hello everyone,

I am in the process of applying to APU ELM program for Spring of 2019. I was just looking to connect to other applicants. I will be applying to the main campus. If anyone has any questions feel free to post, I have found the older forums from previous cohorts to be very helpful when looking for advice.

I think we still have another month to hear back. I interviewed with the director of the program and she said May 4th. It's so hard to wait, I feel like the interview process is a lot longer than it was in the Fall. Did you interview with someone different this time around? What did you think?

What was you interviewers name??

@ftrprovider that's great news! I interviewed in mid March so she was a lot more vague with when we would find out; saying early to late May was entirely possible. They probably have a better idea of that timeline now though! Waiting another month is still gonna suck though haha

I went ahead and paid the deposit at Western so at least I have a backup. The second time around I was way more nervous and stumbled over my words I thought. But I emailed the program advisor about the international exerpience component of the evaluation and he said I interviewed well both times so we'll see. Another whole month!! Ahhhh!! Lol it's okay we'll survive but I do agree this process is WAY longer than Fall

is anybody waiting to hear from other programs still? I also applied to cal state san marcos who I am waiting to hear from and am going to apply to concordia irvine. both are bsn progams only so would have to go through this lovely application process again for the NP, but then I suppose a benefit is assuming I do really well in that portion there is a better chance to get into a bigger program like a UC

I'm the interview for April 12th (: My interview is tomorrow at the main campus! I plan to ask my interviewer when I should expect to hear back and I will post what she says to this forum afterwards.
