Hello,
just starting a forum thread so all applicants or future applicants can communicate with each other regarding the application.
I have applied to Azusa Pacific ELM program for Spring 2021 at the Inland Empire. I have not gotten an interview yet but hopefully soon, fingers crossed. Anyone gotten a response yet?
I just got my acceptance letter to the SD campus for Spring 2021! I am so excited and just stunned right now. CONGRATS to all others that have been accepted and I wish the best of luck to those still waiting.
@thngmnvng I would say that it does not hurt to apply, but always have a backup plan and keep looking forward. I had gotten waitlisted at my other school and we had not heard back from Azusa yet, so my plan was to retake my prerequisites to get a higher GPA. The community colleges here in SD are amazing for taking them. Remember though that there is also the interview among other things that make you competitive and not just your GPA.

CONGRATS! Was your letter via email?
@Sieldani Thank you so much and yes, I got the email that everyone keeps referring to. It says something like, "Welcome to Azusa Pacific University! Because of your recent interaction with Azusa Pacific University (APU), we have started setting up an APU Network Account for you. However, before you can access home.apu.edu and other account related resources you first need to complete your activation by following the link below:" and then gives a link. I honestly would have been confused if not for all of the other posts about the email. I also checked the dashboard that had said 100% complete and it will now give your decision.
@EmsFutureRN CONGRATS!! Did you also receive the general email regarding starting new applications and Covid-19 we got a couple days ago? Just wondering if they only sent that out to people who didn’t get accepted to inform them on applying again.

Hi everyone. It seems as if different locations have different timelines. Mine went like this: I received an email saying to set up a portal with APU. I made an account but on the portal, I wasn't able to access any information (even under "admissions"). Looking at previous cohort's forums, they said to check the actual application site and it will show you. If decision is not ready, it will only show the "100% completed." Also, hours later my program representative gave me a call too to let me know of the admission. I hope this helps. I am hoping well for you all!! Feel free to message me if you have any questions~
@Ella_Jo CONGRATS to you!! Although we're not in the same cohort, I hope I can see you around on main campus!!
@fromthebl0ck CONGRATS! If I recall, you interviewed at the IE campus, right? I wonder how they decided to put you into the Main campus. I understand that previous applicants are put back into the pool each cohort. I hope that doesn't mean the IE campus has been filled up already ?

@NguyenersClub My apologies for the mix up. I applied to the main campus, interviewed, and got accepted at the main campus! And it seems like IE applicants haven’t heard back yet. You got this! Hopefully you will hear back soon ? The waiting game is tough

Hi everyone,
I was planning to apply to Azusa (SD campus) for next year. However I have a low undergrad GPA and a low prereq GPA (like a 3.0). I do have a ton of volunteer experience and I'm planning to work as a CNA. I was wondering if I shoud just apply or wait to make my pre req GPA better and application stronger?
Thanks everyone and CONGRATS!
