  1. Is there anyone who could kind of explain how they are running classes during the pandemic? I was originally supposed to start the program in January but postponed my admission to the Summer term. I doubt it will still be online at that point but im just super curious about the format and how they’re doing things right now. ? hope all are doing well!

  3. For those who are accepted to the IE campus for the Summer term, theres a facebook group if you wanna join! ?
  4. I definitely felt the same way when I did mine! Mine was in person back in march and I literally sat in my car in the parking lot and cried for a good 15 minutes. My interview probably lasted 20 minutes, if that. But don't give up!
  5. I mean, ya they’ll encourage you to finish the masters portion. Im just saying if I could potentially cut 2-3 years off I would definitely rather do that. I have already accepted my offer, but who knows, I may not even get into a doctorate program which will leave me with my backup of continuing the masters portion. Of course I had all intentions of completing the masters portion and continuing my doctorate after that simply because I didn't realize this program awards 2 degrees. Other ELM programs don't do that. Otherwise I would have considered an ABSN program
  6. I knew that the pre-licensure portion and post-licensure portion were separate but I didn't know you were awarded a BS at the end of the pre-licensure. I just thought you got your RN license. With that being said, do you know if you HAVE TO continue after the pre-licensure portion? Like, are you awarded the BS and MS at the same time at the very very end of the program? I only ask because I want to get my doctorate and I don't technically need to become an NP. I only need my BS and my License. I cant find anyone who is in the same boat as me LOL ??

  8. Interviews definitely Go out in waves. I believe I was in the first group of my cohorts interviews which was around 12 people. And we were notified about 2 1/2 weeks after we submitted our application. But people were still getting interview invites like 3 weeks after that also! don't get discouraged!
  9. Good luck to those who have interviews coming up! Go in confident! Your GPA or level of experience IS NOT a deal breaker, so dont feel discouraged if you stumble across other forums where people get denied even though they have 4.0s and hundreds of hours of experience. That definitely stressed me out and I didn't think I had a chance but they DEFINITELY look at you as a whole rather than just your GPA or resume. ?
  10. No, I had to email the program manager and she said we are allowed one postponement. I originally wanted to start earlier (fall 2020) but that required me to be placed on a waitlist. But I believe they leave 5 spots open each semester for people from other application periods and since decisions hadnt been made for Summer 2021 I was able to be moved into that cohort.
  11. Hi everyone! I was accepted into the Spring 2021 term but I chose to postpone my admission until Summer 2021 at the IE campus. Good luck to you all, I look forward to hearing from you guys! ?
  12. Hi everyone! I'm not sure if anyone is still following these older forums but I thought id try anyways! I was accepted into the Spring 2021 cohort at the IE campus and I'm on the waitlist for Fall 2020... I just recently found out that I am pregnant, so I was wondering if anyone would be willing to give me a little bit of a timeline of the first/second semester of the program? Maybe some tips on some things I can study to get ahead. I am unable to see which textbooks are used for the first semester but any insight would be extremely appreciated!
