Hello,

just starting a forum thread so all applicants or future applicants can communicate with each other regarding the application.

I have applied to Azusa Pacific ELM program for Spring 2021 at the Inland Empire. I have not gotten an interview yet but hopefully soon, fingers crossed. Anyone gotten a response yet?

They do each have different timelines. I applied to SD as well.

@Edelis Diaz Machado on the admissions letter it said Azusa campus so I believe that is the main campus! ?

Hi everyone. It seems as if different locations have different timelines. Mine went like this: I received an email saying to set up a portal with APU. I made an account but on the portal, I wasn't able to access any information (even under "admissions"). Looking at previous cohort's forums, they said to check the actual application site and it will show you. If decision is not ready, it will only show the "100% completed." Also, hours later my program representative gave me a call too to let me know of the admission. I hope this helps. I am hoping well for you all!! Feel free to message me if you have any questions~

Hi all!

CONGRATS to those who got accepted. I just got my decision today that they denied my admission. They didn’t give a reason as to why. I was under the impression I was a pretty competitive candidate with 3.8 science and 3.8 non-science, many years of experience in healthcare and volunteering. I am not sure what their criteria is. During the interview they told me I was a strong candidate. I am not sure if I should reapply or just let it go and look at other schools..

I was denied last semester from the Monrovia campus. I thought I was a good candidate. Please dont give up. I applied again this semester for SD campus. Keep trying. You got this.

I am sorry, you should try again! Which campus did you apply too?

Well I applied to both Azusa and IE. I wish they gave a reason, but I am not sure if I should even reapply since they didn’t give that option. I know they’ve accepted people with less than stellar academics and no healthcare background. I thought I had a a good chance. I guess I bombed my interview LOL

Did the letter say which campus or both campuses? You have the upperhand next time, you know what to expect if you choose too. Maybe the essay prompt?

last time I was denied, I email the program representative and the person who emailed me and wanted feedback. How else do we know what we need to improve on? I was told they were more competitive candidates.

It was just a general letter. So my guess is I got denied from both.

I also got a general denial letter today, this was my second time applying and I still don’t know based on what criteria the decisions are made. I wish they would share feedback! But anyway good luck to everyone and wish you get accepted in program of your choice!

Oh man that sounds so discouraging:// I don’t even know if it’s worth reapplying at this point...
