Does anyone have a good app or other resource for managing hypertension and diabetes mellitus? I graduate at the end of this year and feel very uncomfortable managing these 2 conditions.

Why, is HTN and DM prevalent these days or something?
Thanks for the help. I'm 6 weeks into clinical. It's new to me. But yeah, thanks.

This is what clinicals are for....to learn and become comfortable with "chronic" diseases. Be sure to talk to the drug reps when they come in...they usually have guidelines and protocols.

Hey, I've got a great idea...lets eat our young.
Check out this link for DM, go to the bottom for the algorithm.

There was no attack. The management of HTN and DM is widely available in clinical texts. Why use an app?

I just went into the App Store and searched those 2 conditions. There were many apps. Just check the reviews and see which looks user friendly for you.
I do.

Moved to student NP forum.
By the time most of us have been in practice a few years, we have our few favorite meds we use. However, when we were new (and we were ALL new) at one time or another, we did look things up.
Best wishes in clinical and as a new grad.
