Applying to UCLA MECN to start Fall 2015?

Hi! Is anyone applying to UCLA's MECN program? Last year I applied and wasn't accepted. I believe they accepted around 12%. They had 70 spaces down from 90 the previous year.

I'm a Bruin as well C/O 2010. I am hoping to go back to my Alma Mater, best time of my life. Submitted my app Friday night... this waiting game is terrible. A friend of mine was awarded a fellowship in 2014, keeping my fingers and toes crossed :nailbiting:

Raise your hand if you check your application submission page multiple times a day, even though you are fully fully aware it isn't March???

Do we really have to wait until the letters get mailed out? Does anyone know another way of finding out admissions decisions before March?

I'm really hoping it is actually March this year, and not mid/end April like last year! Either way seems a lonnnnnng ways away.

@ShirleyRex Those are all great programs! I'm definitely applying to CSUN because I'm a student here and I'm finishing my BA in psych. I can't wait to graduate in 6 weeks lol. I'm also applying to CSULA as well. The other schools I'm applying to are CSUCI and CSUSM. However, both of those schools are pretty far from me. I'm really hoping to get into UCLA, it's my top choice! I'm also re-taking the TEAS, but only because I need to score higher on the math section. I'm taking it on the 22nd at CSULA. When are you re-taking it?

@ElizabethH736 I was planning to take the TEAS this weekend, too, but studying got away from me and I'm going to take it next month at CSU LA. I just want to be done with this test already! Last time I did well on the math and so-so on science...this time, I need to do much better in science, but still keep up the math score! Too bad we can't combine our best scores, what a relief that would be!

@ShirleyRex: I wish I could take it next month instead! I know how you feel...I want it to be over with as well. I did pretty well on the science section, but I need to improve my math score. I'm so nervous already! I wish we could combine our best scores too lol. I can hardly wait to graduate in a few weeks...I'm so ready to be done with this semester. Thank you! :) I'm sure you'll do great when you take your TEAS next month!

Unfortunately I was unable to take the TEAS this past weekend. I caught a bad cold earlier in the week and was too sick to take the test. So i rescheduled for December 13th thankfully. Thanks for asking though!
