Any news on those who applied for AOS in Nebraska SC? Is there anyone out there who got approved recently? Are all approval for I-485 only coming from Texas SC at this time? Hope to hear approval coming from Nebraska SC.

Texas has been faster in their processing. Nebraska has been lagging behind in theirs. Have only seen approvals thru Texas come thru.
I hope that Nebraska SC will release approvals soon. Anyway thanks for your reply Suzanne.

My friend and her husband both got their I-485 approved yesterday. Their cases were at Nebraska SC.
Good luck!

what were their pds?
a friend in ca has a pd of july 2006 with nebraska, and he hadn't received his green card yet.
he called up uscis, and he was informed that nebraska is currently processing june 2005. no other information was given to him.
this might mean he has to renew his ead for the next 2 years.

he had been in the us for more than a year, on a tourist visa.
and is currently not accepted. it basically is illegal to use this route of using tourist visa with intention of changing status and with the clampdown of illegal immigrants and retrogression expect huge problems and tourist visas hard to apply for
just in case anyone reading this is thinking on trying this route
