I will be applying for the Spring 2008 semester. Cutoff for applications is September 4 (I believe...usually the 1st Tuesday in September). So, hoping I get in Spring 2008!
How does your school decide who gets into the program? Do you have to take the NLN Pre-entrance exam? All I can say is study, study, study and of course it is possible to get in the first time around. Best of luck!
Good luck everyone!
hello! i am applying for the winter session at my local c.c. which app deadlines are october for the jan session and april 1 for the fall 08 session. which is very nerve racking but then again i still have to take the teas test for one college and the one that i am applying for in the fall 08 is a bsn program. good luck to you all! looking to meet new friends!
I am finishing my pre reqs this fall and applying for spring 08. They want a resume, do they want just your average one or is there something that I do not know about. I asked my advisor but she was NO help. Also, did anyone write a personal statement? What do you say without sounding silly?:monkeydance:
I'm working right now on my application materials to start an accelerated MSN program in the fall 08. I'm 38 and my degree is in music. :uhoh21: I still have to take prereqs but there are only 5 of them and I have it planned so I finish by June of 08 and have the summer completely off to be with my hubby and kiddos. I have twin 16 month olds and a 9 year old with special needs. At the moment I'm a stay at home mom and I work harder and longer hours than any paying job I've ever had!
Right now I'm struggling with the resume. My background is in customer service and purchasing/inventory control. It's been years since I've even thought about a resume let alone written one! I also have to write an essay and I've just been writing down bit and pieces of ideas on that so far.
