Hi Karen,

good luck to you!

I am 39 also have twins (2 boys age 8). fun fun! I have a daughter also who is 10. I am hoping to start january of 08, just waiting for my acceptance (or rejection). I will have summers off still until I finish and I have been really trying to make the most of them for sure! I have been very blessed to be home full time up until now.

Hey Catherine,

Twins are fun! Most of the time anyway. :lol2: Lots of work too, especially that first year!

Summers off will be so great for you and your family! The program I'm applying to is 20 months including just one summer term but there are 2 week breaks in between terms so it's not like a 26 mile sprint.

Good luck to you too!

Karen

Hello,

I am a first time sucess story! I am in SC and Started in Jan of this year. Busted my butt full time through spring, summer, and now fall classes. Our deadline was earlier this month and I just got my acceptance letter for Spring RN clinicals (jan 2008)!!!! :)

Our school goes on a competitive entry program. You accumulate points based on several factors; GPA, SAT, ACT, NET test scores, individualcourse grades, yada yada yada. Anyways, the more points you have earned the higher on the waiting list you are, no matter how long you have been waiting (even if it is only 4 months like me!).

Good luck with Spring entry, I hope you make it!! It is so exciting and scary! I am a mother of 4 children and I think my nerves have been tested more since being in the pre nursing program than ever!

im waiting to apply and take the TEAS. i'm so nervous about applying and taking the test and a week ago i almost had a breakdown because i had so much going on. i'm hoping that i make it into my school's program because i don't want to be a fifth year senior or anything like that although i know that if i want this bad enough it won't matter how long it takes me. so if anyone could offer some support or guidance with the test or applications or anything i would greatly appreciate that! thanks and good luck to everyone else.
