I am schedule for the 21st at 9 am. I have a lot of studying to do. Haven't touched a book since school ended in May. How about you?
been reading over nursing things every day, trying to absorb info through osmosis.(lol)
I am scheduled to take boards at 9am in Ohio. At times I just wish this would be done and over with because everyday my anxiety level increases by 10 fold........
I know what you are talking about that is why I have been avoiding studying but it will probably bite me in the butt now! How do you study with three boys around? I got a 6 year old who is out of school on Friday and 4 1/2 year triplets who are driving me crazy!! All girls! Have you started looking for a job yet? By the way my name is Lynn.
I study all of the time, when the boys( ages 12, 9, 7) start acting up I do what I do best and say get out side or else! (lol)
I have a job lined up just waiting to pass boards. Scared out of my mind about the whole board thing... hate those alternate format questions!
My name is Anne

Another mom of three here... I'm testing on the 26th... I'm also finding it hard to settle down and study with the kids home on summer vacation! It helps me a little to do Saunders CD study questions 10 at a time (in little chunks). I also have a job lined up & I start shortly after boards so I hope it goes well!! I'm doing a Kaplan review the week before.

Hello there! Also mom of 3 and taking my boards on th 21st. It has not been easy studying. I couldn't even start until the kids were out of school with all the end of year parties, show, graduations, performances, etc... This week I took advantage of some time while they were all at vacation bible school. I have been working out of the Lippencott NCLEX review. It seems to help refresh your memory on all those disease processes that we stuffed into our heads only long enough to take the test.
I start my job on Monday and still have over half of my review book to finish before the 21st. Wish me luck...I wish you all luck and the time to study!!!

June 21 also, Scared out of my mind. I have 2 kids, 7 & 4, been doing TONS of questions, really nervous about meds. Been using Saunders CD and book, NCLEX 3000, ATI and a book from the review course we took. As long as I pass I will start my job July 5.
Good luck to all

Well, I just hope we all pass the first time around. I have a job, but cant start until I pass boards (which stinks). I need to study more, I do about 300-400 questions per day and the ones that I dont know anything about I try and relearn some of the main things about it. In school I have my BSN, and to be honest there are so many things we never covered, it makes feel very un-ready. I feel that if one attends a 4 year program, or any program, that a little of everything should be covered.
I have to really buckle down now any start studing more, but with boys home, and baseball games nightly (yes nightly, because in north east ohio the weather Sucks)
we have many make up games! So I feel for everyone of US that have kids who are home now, and the strength that we must have not to pull all of our hair out by being stressed out over this test. So good luck to all of you We all deserve to have RN after our names. (including the single ladies out there)

HIYA !!
I took my test today, (6-21) left feeling like a total idiot, came home and am trying not to throw up. I studied as much as I could - which was hard with 4 kids running around (and it has been too hot here in Phoenix to send them outside.) Plus DH hasn't been felling very well the last 2 days and just left work to go to the ER with what I think may be angina.
I don't know how I'm going to get through the next 48 hours.
keeping fingers crossed for all of you..... however i must say I would rather give birth then take that test over
