  1. This is my story. Had my DD in 99, was breech, she was a C/Section, drs found I only had 1/2 of my uterus. DS due to be born in June 2002, ALL male drs in practice recommended C/Section, I DID NOT WANT A VBAC. The week before my C/S, the woman dr who was going to deliever(it was her day) tried to talk me into VBAC, gave me all the statistics about how low the risk was for a VBAC, I declined and went with C/S. As she was delievering my son, she made teh comment "glad you are having a C/S, your utuerus is so paper thin, you would have likely ruptured" Good think I went with my instincts. Denise
  2. I passed with 75 and got 10 select all that apply, I dont think we will EVER be able to figure NCLEX out Denise, RN
  3. HI I took mine in PA, took them on a Saturday, results posted on Tuesday. A friend took them Thurs. results were there on Saturday, but I have some friends who have waited up to 10 days. Good luck Denise, RN
  4. Orthodics have been a LIFESAVER for me, I find its worse when I stand still. As long as I am moving I am fine, but standing in the same spot I would recommend seeing a podatrist Denise, RN
  5. I passed and my tem. permit says "Null and Void" if you fail I think it says your temp permit says "expired" and if you fail you get a letter in the mail first. Good luck Denise,RN
  6. WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I cant imagine what you have been going thur, SOOOOOOOOOO excited for you denise, RN
  7. I graduated May 17, went to Disneyworld May 18-21, had my NCLEX review May 23-25 and starting May 26 I studied everyday up until my test on June 17. I did TONS AND TONS of questions, if I had to guess it would be about 5000. I used numerous different guides and TRUELy felt ready to take my boards. I found out June 20 I had passed, my license had been issured on my son's 4th birthday June 19, got my licnese in the mail yesterday Good luck Denise, RN
  8. Passed at 75, I hope you do too Denise, RN
  9. 1. How many questions did you take on NCLEX? 75 2. What study materials did you use? Did you take a test review course I used A LOT of things: ATI, Saunder's, Kaplan, NCLEX 3000, Mosby's, Mosby's CAT. I took the Sylvia Rayfield course. 3. Did your SON offer any testing (ERI, ATI, HESI)? We started ATI in the middle of Nursing 3, the Predictor test said I had a 99% chance of passing NCLEX 4. How long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting? I took the test at 8am on Saturday and got my results from PA BON on Tuesday morning at 7am!!!!, I PASSED 5. What were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)? I had mixed feelings, when I got to question 74 I said to myself, "if this shuts off at 75, I passed" BUT when it shut off at 75 I cried, the next few days I went back and forth between thinking I had passed and at time thinking I failed. 6. Was this your first attempt at NCLEX? This was my 1st AND LAST, it was a strange test, but in my mind doable Denise, RN
  10. Go in with confidence. We graduated nursing school, we have the knowledge to pass the boards. I truely believe that having the confidence helped me, along with the tons of questions I had done good luck Denise, RN
