I am doing both A&Ps over the summer. Started I last week and had first test on Thursday. We have class 3 days a week. It is intense but I am hoping to push through it okay.

4 people left class after the first day, think we were down a few more on test day. We started with Tissues as we had covered the first 3 chapters of the book in a previous bio class. We are using Marieb textbook.

Cool, hey keep us informed babyheart. I suspect my class will lose some weight after our first test as well.

Hey,

Anyone attending BHSC BSN this fall in Memphis,Memphis?:nurse:

Well I had my first class yesterday. I go 4 days a week with 2 hours in lecture and then 2 hours in lab each day. We started and finished the first chapter and first lab. We found out we will have a test every week in lecture and then a quiz in lab everyday and then two lab tests.

Seems doable. Though it was only the first chapter. Today we start the Chemistry chapter.

How is everyone else doing?

Class starts June 9th.

ignore this one...I'm a newb...

Hmm I don't see my post that I just posted.

I started AP1 on May 6th. So far two quizzes (86 and ? not back yet) and one exam (98). Professor tells us exactly what to study, which I like.

We're using the Marieb textbook. My professor doesn't like to use it but says it's "good reference".

Hi everyone!!

I begain my pre-reqs in May...Nutrition and AP1. the Nutrition class is wonderful, so far pulling an A-....AP1 is entirely different story. I have a completely different background (social services)... AP1 is soo much information to process...i feel overwhelmed. i really wish i had taken chemistry first...i'm having such difficulty with some of the concepts...our first test is June 3rd and I am worried. I study, i record the lectures everything, but sometimes i feel like the professor speeds thru the lecture..he is great professor, makes it humorous, but when he serious it down to business...please pray for me....i need it!!:banghead:

Had first lab test....made a 100. The big enchilada is next week on tissues and terms. Ill keep you guys posted.

Sounds like my schedule. My lecture is for 2 hours and lab is one hour. I am doing good so far(considering that I studied my book everyday for 3 weeks b4 class began):yeah: We are hitting about 2 chapters everyday and have 1 quiz a day and 2 major exams every week(1 lecture, 1 lab) Its been alot to keep up with, cause I am a mommy of a 1 1/2 yr old boy:devil: But definately doable. The chemistry part of the lecture is the hardest for me, not to mention boring:yawn: Today was our 3rd day in the class and were already into the skeletal system!! I love learning about this stuff though:D How has everyone else been doing? Does anyone have any good study advice??
