Just wondering if you are studying while on summer break? If so, please share how you are fitting it in, and what your study schedule has been. I thought I would be able to get more studying done, but I have been VERY busy...trying to clean out clutter, family time, getting ready for vacation, church work, etc....so any adivce you have would be much appreciated!
I never studied during summer breaks, winter breaks, semester breaks, etc. because after a period of intense stuyding and schoolwork, I needed that downtime to unwind and recharge the batteries. I might thumb through a review guide but that's more out of curiosity than anything.
My grades never suffered from it either--I graudated with highest honors. In fact, I think I did better having the breaks from studying than if I would have tried to keep going.
I will be starting to study again about August 1-I won't remember anything useful by the time school starts anyway. I just want to get back into thinking about fluids/electrolytes, acid/base imbalances, and systems we'll be using.
I can hardly wait til school starts! Then it's only two semesters til I'm a NURSE! (God willing, of course.)
I am in an Accelerated BSN and taking classes this summer. Some of you that aren't taking classes seem to be studying more than I am! Jeez, take a break... Enjoy your summer for gods sake. Seriously, its not that hard. Study a solid 12 hours the day before a test, that's all you need to do.

I am extremely neurotic and although I would just LOVE to study my entire summer break..I've come to realize that you WILL burn yourself out. Gosh, take a breath and take a few weeks off--I promise all the information will be there in a few weeks when you are refreshed and even more ready to learn! Appreciate your time off or by October you'll be begging for the semesters end.
