Anyone have a student planner that they love?

Published

I am looking for a great student planner for the upcoming semester. I would like one that I can use to keep my school life straight and hopefully my home life too. I have 4 kids so I would like to keep all of my info in one place. I looked on Amazon but thought I would see if anyone here has one that they would recommend. Thanks!

I just used the one that they sold at my school, with the school logo on it...it even had little circle stickers in it with labels likes "exam", "midterm", "meeting","priority", etc, that I was able to stick onto certain days...I used it for school and outside, and it is fine. When I start clinicals, though, I may buy a planner that has bigger boxes for the days, so that I can fit more info

Oh this is a great question! I've been looking for a planner as well that will work with my school and job. I work in the social service field and have meetings/ISP's/PRC's plus monitoring group homes that take up a lot of my space on my calendar.

At the moment I have 3 calendars going. 1 - desk calendar, 2 - daily/dated/timed calendar i carry around, and 3 - my microsoft calendar.

The microsoft calendar i love because I can sync it with my smart phone.

I'm thinking I may have to purchase the daily/dated/timed calendar again for this year. I was able to buy it last year at Office Max for $10.00 - which was pretty cheap (I thought).

Anyone else have a better idea that may help me condense my bulky calendar to help?

I use my Mac and my iPhone. The calendar syncs automatically and I can easily enter new dates/events on the go. You can also set alerts for important events. Paperless and backed-up online and in multiple places through the "Sync" feature. Only one device to carry and I find it very easy to use.

I do better with tracking things on paper for now. I know when I am in a nursing program I will probably need a PDA. I used to have one and I hated using it. I went ahead and ordered this

It doesn't have everything that I wanted but I figured I can fit the school stuff in somewhere. I couldn't find a student planner that allowed me to fit family stuff in.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I use an At A Glance planner. I like this one because it allows me to see my obligations for the entire month at a glance.

I use to have a Saunders Student Nurse Planner. Then went to a smaller regular academic year calander (runs with the school year, not the calander year). Now I have a PDA and once I learn how to use it (that maybe after I graduate hehehe) I'll enter all my "must do" things into that.

I use my PDA, but I also have a backup at-a-glance, Wal-mart one, for important things in case my PDA decides to go on the fritz. I LOVE the PDA though. I have to say I have really become dependent on it. I have drug book, calendars, drug interaction program, and other things. Can't imagine going back to pencil and paper, for me.

I use a wal-mart planner day for day and I can't live without it. My whole life is in that one book. Who knew I could be so organized?:lol2:

I use my PDA, which is basically, the most useful thing I take to school. I have a drug guide, all my "to do", tests, RN Notes, and several med calculators, as well as a regular calculator.

It's just... I'd go crazy if it ever went south, but thank goodness its' backed up on my Mac at home.

I'm not a student anymore, but I used "uncalendars" when I was in school.

There are a variety of different formats that can be used. I still use them now that I am out of school to keep track of everything from work schedules to grocery lists to vacations to meetings.

I think you may be able to find them online at uncalendar.com.

i use yahoo mail and they have an online calendar that i use...nice because i can access it from any of my various "toys" (home desktop, work desktop, laptop) it does allow for synching with outlook and palm (i think) which isn't important to me now, but i anticipate using that feature soon when my pda is back up and running.
