Anyone still waiting to hear about spring '07 acceptance?

i just found out today that i made it into the lpn program.
i am numb, it doesn't seem real to me that i will start nursing school on january 4, 2007. now i have to find a way to pay for it! off to fill out my fasfa.

congratulations to all!! falon i too was accepted into the jan 02. '07 lpn program. i too am still numb from the news, or maybe i'm numb from all the shots i had to take today. i misplaced my shot records, so you know what that means "shots and titers for everyone and i'm buying":lol2: :lol2: .

i got into brookhaven.
i am so excited that i can't focus on anything else.

Thank you, kalmeira. I still can't believe it!!! Do not give up. We have to notify the school by Dec. 6th if we're going to take the spot or not. There might be a couple of people that decline for whatever reason. I would try to find out if there's an alternate list and where I am on it if it were me.

I'm still waiting. I talked with an advisor from chamberlain today. It seems that they have fallen behind because of a couple ice storms. They are still accepting apllications for march 07 class and you should here something by the end of the month. Keep your head up. Hopes this helps. :lol2: :monkeydance:

What kind of wait are you all experiencing to find out? What I mean is...say your application deadline is September 15th...how long until you get your accept or reject notification? I'm prepping myself for the process next year. I don't know how long the schools take on average to decide and notify.

Our ADN (RN) program application period for Delta Community College, in Stockton CA was from Sept. 1 to Oct. 16. So I was there to wait in line an hour before the office opened on Sept. 1 and we found out on Nov. 15. So, those of us that turned our app. in on the first day had to wait about 10 weeks. It sure was a long 10 weeks though, especially when it got down to that last week of waiting when we knew they were going to be posting the results any day.

Yikes that is a loooooooooooooooooooooong wait. I'm going to need to do something about this next year, or I may go quite literally insane waiting to find out. I can see myself stalking my mailman already.

So if they fail to call are they automatically out? It's terrible to hope that this would happen, but I would love to get in through the alternate pool. They told me that eveyone who did not make it is in the alternate pool, but they would not say where I am in it. I have class tommorow, so I will try to ask in person while I am there.
