   I just started an ADN program in January and about 1/2 of the people in my class (90 students) are over 35.

   My good friend just started our ADN program and she had to get a student loan to pay for daycare. She has a 2 year old and 9 month old that go to the campus daycare center 4 days a week.

   Congratulations Nora! I know what you mean about the paperwork... We had 4 days to get our paperwork in and we had a month to get our other stuff taken care of (physicals, immunization records, etc.)

   I start nursing school next week and my friend and I both bought the Littman Cadiology III from allheart.com. Steeles is very slightly cheaper, but all heart will personalize your tubing for $15 so we got our names put on our steths.

   At our school we get to wear medium blue scrubs, in the brand of our choice. We also have to have a knee length white lab coat, which we get to when/if we want. And white shoes.

   The recipezaar site is wonderful. I just checked it out and saved a lot of OAMC recipes so I'll be set when school starts in 2 weeks. Thanks! One of my favorite on-the-go lunches is the "Starkist Lunch-to-go Tuna and Crackers"
