Anyone starting pre-nursing this fall?

I am. I'm doing mostly online courses though.

In Aug I'll have

ENG 101

BIO 156

PSY 101

MAT 082 (cause I suck at math and it's been 13 years since I was in a math class LOL)

Then in Jan I'll have

MAT 086

BIO 201

SOC 100

PSY 203

Summer 09

MAT 092

BIO 202

Then I can apply to Nusring school for Jan 2010.

That's the plan.

I'm actually starting in about 2 weeks with a summer course - Psych 101.

I already have a BS degree so I just need to take the pre-reqs for nursing. I'm retaking Psych 101 to bring up my GPA - I took it 25 years ago (!) and got a C.

This fall I start with Biology and then go on to my A&P course and Microbiology. I will also probably take a nutrition course as well. Due to other demands on my schedule, I don't plan to start nursing school until Fall of 2011.

I figure this way I can take my time and really study one course at a time.

I am taking pre-nursing this fall also. I don't have my schedule yet, but I will be taking:

college writing

pre tech math

chemistry I

a & p I

intro to sociology

computer app I

(all required to get into the BScN program at my local U.) My winter semester is just as busy! Its going to be a LONG year! :eek: Can't wait to start nursing in the fall of '09!!!

I start the pre-reqs in Fall:

Fall:

A&P I

Microbiology

Psych 101

Soc 101

Spring:

A&P II

Stats

Lifespan development

Maths for nurses

Then start Fall 09 at nursing school (providing I get a 3.0 in my courses!)
