I've applied to 5 area schools (Sac State, Sac City, Sutter, ARC, and Sierra) I'm waiting and I can't help but to be anxious. I thought it'd be nice to know who has heard and when. Thank you!

I have had all knd of problems with those people. Stanislaus did not count my GPA well, so now they have to redo it. And the lady at the Evaluation's office was so mean to me.
How many points do you have for chico? is it usually very hard to get into Chico?
My husband said I can commute to Chico everyday in the 1st semester and when it gets hard I can take a place up there to crash on long days.
I don't even know what to think now. huhhhhhh
ya I got an e-mail from Humboldt too. so u say that Stanislaus already sent you an acceptance letter? I have not heard anything from them or san bernadino or fresno.....
I should have 82 points for Chico which I hope is enough..... I will get full points for my GPA so that's 60, then 19 for my Teas Score so that 79, then 1 point for work experience, and 2 points for my volunteer experience... so ya thats 82 points. But see last semster when I applied I had 81 but thats because I got the full 20 points for the TEAS test, but since they changed it to be 90%+ for the full 20 I'm hoping this will help my odds. If everyone who applied last time only met say near the minimun 80% for the teas and didnt retake the test than thats good news for me! So still keeping my fingers crossed.

For San Bernadino did you need letters of reference? And do you know if they have a point system too?
This is what I should get for Chico: the full 60 pts GPA, 19 for the teas, 1-2 points for languange(which I did not get at Sac State cause they do not accept French), health experience I don't know how they are going to calculate that because I have both work experience and a certification, so that can earn between 1-4 points, it is all up to them. So, anywere between 82+.
When you had 81 points what alternate # were you?
well ya, but you also have to consider that the reason so many people applied this semester to Sac State, raising the points were because of the shortened time. Although, now that I think about it maybe not.... I mean I just checked my e-mail from last year and there were still 380+ students that applied. oh man..... getting really nervous now. I also wouldn't think that Sac State and Chico state would have the same amount of people applying either. Sac State is the hardest CSU to get into I would imagine.
And you know my fiance just called me from work and told me that he talked to a RN that was on the school board for sac state and she told him that I would be better off not going to sac state. If you would like to know why we could try and e-mail each other as I don't want to talk about it on here. But after what she told me, I am kinda glad that I was 37 on the alternate list lol. Here's to waiting another week and a half for chico yay.....
ok, let me email you. what's the add? You know, sac state was only 323 applicants this spring. You know what I thank God every night for Humboldt cause I know people wait for years to get into nursing school. I am in my early thirties, in 2 years my child is high school bound (private school tuition), a mortgage, a mother who is getting old......so I really cannot wait to do this.

If i don't get in to CSUS i wont get any other chances this coming spring so i guess i can just hold out. I already made my schedule for my general ed courses for csus next semester if i don't get into the program....
