I've applied to 5 area schools (Sac State, Sac City, Sutter, ARC, and Sierra) I'm waiting and I can't help but to be anxious. I thought it'd be nice to know who has heard and when. Thank you!

I got my acceptance to the Sutter program yesterday! The response is due very quickly, so acceptance letters should be received in the next few days.
I wouldn't expect any of the others until mid-November.

Congrats Jess6! How long has it taken you to get in?
This was my first semester! I'm thrilled I did well enough to get into the Sutter program, because I can't quite see being lucky enough to get picked in one of the lotteries my first time, and the Sierra program's criteria are different enough that I don't think I stand a chance there (total GPA instead of just prerequisites - I had a less than successful first attempt at college a decade ago that left my total GPA somewhat less than wonderful).

Wow! Congrats Jess!! I'm still waiting too. I just appied at SCC and ARC.
I am still hopeful - I know it does happen for some people. Most everyone I talk to that's in the program saysthey applied 2-3+ times......
I had a dream that EVERYONE I know that applied got in except me! Geez...I just want to know one way or another.
Realistically - it's going to be another 2+ weeks. Sutter's apps were due in the middle of Sep. - SCC and ARC weren't due until middle of Oct. - I just hope I know by Thanksgiving.
But if anyof you do hear - I, for one, would love to know!!!
Good luck to us all!!!

Hey Jess,
I was wondering did you have any health care experience? and congrats. This has been a very trying experience to say the least.
I've had several years of volunteer experience (mentioned in my essay), but nothing paid, so I don't know how that fits into the equation.

Congrats Jess! I have not received anything so I'm assuming I will probably get a different type of letter any day now ...I hear it is an excellent program....VERY HAPPY:lol2: FOR YOU!!!!!
Still keeping my fingers crossed for Sac State...starting to feel very very anxious.

Same here Polka-dot. I'm taking O Chem at Sierra right now, and a girl in my class got her acceptance letter yesterday also. This is my first season applying so I can't expect to get in, but I do HOPE. It really puts a pit in the stomach to have potentially lost my back-up plan.
OHHH, sorry Jess. Good job, and congratulations!
Keep in mind that they'll probably send out at least one more round of acceptances because not everyone in the first round is going to say yes or get back to them in time. And even of those who do say yes, I'm going to guess that there is a percentage who will change their mind mid-November when they get into some other program.
And the mail might just be slow! Or they might have sent them out over the course of a few days.
You're sweet Jess....and quite possibly right! While I'm not going to hold my breath for it, I guess I can still hope a teensy weensy bit.
You must be so excited and relieved!!!
