I'm thinking of getting my RN online and looking at doing it through excelsior college or indiana state university? Alot of people been giving advice about excelsior but does anyone know anything about indian state university and there program?
Is isu lpn-bsn program setup like excelsior college where you do the required readings then take the test? Do you actually go online to attend classes? I know isu has clinicals vs ec who doesn't till the end of the program. But I was wondering how does the program work once you're in the nursing classes?

Im completing the prereqs as what ISU wants but I am having difficulty trying to find a proctor for exams. Does anyone know of a proctor service that is provided in California?
BTW, its great to hear that you are enjoying the program so far, gives me confidence that I am going in the right direction. I also had distance learning in the past and am very comfortable with it.
What are the pre reqs that you need to take? Did you not take what you needed during LVN/LPN school? What more do they need?

True. ISU is no longer able to provide clinical placement in California hospitals. I would assume that if you lived on the California/ Oregon border, you can do clinicals in Oregon. You can get a degree from ISU and get licensed in California.

Hey!
I was just accepted into the LPN -BSN online program beginning in Jan. How did you find your preceptors?
