Hello everyone. Does anyone know when they send out the decision letters from CSU stanislaus? I got into the ohlone program but it is an associate program and since I'm planning on getting a BSN eventually I would really rather go to a CSU right away than take the long route to get there. The other two CSUs I applied to sent me waiting list letters. I'm happy to be in any program, but I noticed that ohlone doesn't have some things the CSUs have, like a pediatrics class. Any ideas?
Thanks Christie,
That really helps a lot. I like the idea of taking an extra 4th semester class each semester; that will really make the time go faster. So you really liked the program? Did the nursing staff have some of the "poor me I'm being furloughed" attitide that I heard was going around last semester? I just heard it was a very toxic environment with all the budget cuts.
Aubs I thought for sure youd get in cause you got a good teas score and had great GPA... Thats a bummer. Congrats on East bay. Its an awesome school, my friend is in their nursing program and she loves it. Im alternate number 6...i dunno what to expect..Im so on the fence. Its the only school I applied to cause my bf and I just bought in Patterson and its close. Good luck with school, youll have a blast.
I really feel for you all on the alternate list. It's just another extention of this torture. My advice, find something to do that is productive and will occupy your minds. By the way, I here that all the new nursing students have to take a test on medical terminology before they start classes. I'm working for the census right now so that is keeping me busy. If it makes anyone feel better, I might give up my spot if I get selected into a program closer to home.
@apoppyfield- do not take this the wrong way.. but i hope you definitely get into a program close to home.. Just how stanislaus is close to me.. :) I have worked so hard for this and had so much go wrong... I just want to get it done so I can continue to hopefully NP or P.A...
What programs are you waiting to hear back from?

I had an 84 on teas, didn't finish the math section and my gpa is 3.95 overall. I had no language or experience though. Good luck! U never know maybe the 20's will get in! On your letter did it tell u to come to orientation?
