Hello everyone. Does anyone know when they send out the decision letters from CSU stanislaus? I got into the ohlone program but it is an associate program and since I'm planning on getting a BSN eventually I would really rather go to a CSU right away than take the long route to get there. The other two CSUs I applied to sent me waiting list letters. I'm happy to be in any program, but I noticed that ohlone doesn't have some things the CSUs have, like a pediatrics class. Any ideas?
hahaha I think I have been there. Yah its def NOT the same as around East Bay...not so many authentic mexican restaurants either. Thats not a far drive at all, so good luck with everything!

I totally know what you mean...this is killing me. I wrote the nursing program about the alternates and they made me seem a little more hopeful. they said every year the average changes but last year they got up to 26 on the alternate list and the year before only 5. They also said they will contact you immediately if your spot opens up. Keep hopeful :)
@ Courtcatt... OMGGGGG that completely gives me twisted feelings about all of this... I felt like being number 26 in the alternates was like a delayed rejection but i hope not.. Now that one that we know of is going to drop that makes you 5 and me 24... THAT WE KNOW OF.. hopefully you are already in and I'm on the way! ;P
PS: You might not have as authentic tacos but you HAVE to try Le Croissants in SF.. they have the best Vietnamese sandwiches..on dutch crunch bread.. LOVE IT.. and they have this awesome Chinese restaurant there.. so yummy.. and authentic..
Im so jealous.. i would love to live in the city... Do you want to switch your spot with me at East Bay?...lol.. jk...
Lol I really love the country so I guess I'm opposite of you. I like hearing the birds singing and people playing their guitars out on there porches.... As opposed to my neighbor who won't stop playing his drum! Lol, anyways, sad as though it may be, I think I'm gonna stop posting on this page. East Bay is going to see it and think I don't love them too. Hah!

No I live in Newark so I'm not too far from it. It will be no more than a half hour drive, if that. But my car is so old I am going to have to park at the bart station and take a bus up that big hill. Lol, my car would not make it, especially on a regular basis. I've heard tons about Stanislaus because my boyfriend just graduated from their business program. I went to quite a few of his classes with him just for fun and he also asked around for me about their nursing program. Everyone in it that he talked to really liked it. But I swear if you get in you have to try the taco truck! They have four in a row and they all taste different. I never liked spicy food before. Ever since I found out I would be going to East Bay I have been searching for comparable tacos out here. None are even close. Lol, excuse my taco obsession please.
