Anyone hear from CSU stanislaus for fall 2010?

Hello everyone. Does anyone know when they send out the decision letters from CSU stanislaus? I got into the ohlone program but it is an associate program and since I'm planning on getting a BSN eventually I would really rather go to a CSU right away than take the long route to get there. The other two CSUs I applied to sent me waiting list letters. I'm happy to be in any program, but I noticed that ohlone doesn't have some things the CSUs have, like a pediatrics class. Any ideas?

Really??? 15 out of 30 were on the alternate list... on my paper it says Alternate006 so im assuming that means # 6. Which is pretty good right? Honestly, do you think I have a chance?

Ya... our class was the exception though :p They had a glitch that semester & letters went out very late so a lot of people had already accepted a position at a different school... but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that they get to #6 this time! :)

Ahhh man I wish that glitch would happen again. haaha. Oh well...Thanks so much for everything.... Hopefully I do get in and if I do we will have to meet in person sometime! Have a good weekend.

Hey guys, I'm an alternate as well. I don't know what is worse being an alternate or not being accepted. @christy1229 Who was your microbio teacher and how did you like the class? Hopefully we will all get in

Yah I've taken it.. I'm done with all my pre-reqs. What alternate are u? Don't give up hope we still have a chance!

@haha09 - I took Micro at MJC with Dr. Anderson, but he's not teaching there anymore :(

micro isn't bad at all. I just moved from Danville so I took all my pre recs at DVC but that's prolly too far for u to drive huh? If u need any advice on teachers lemme know.

Thanks for responding guys! I really appreciate it! My alternate number is 20 something. I don't have the paper with me right now though. I'll let you guys know the exact number as soon as I get home. @christy1229 Do you remember what the highest alternate number that was accepted for your class? I'm thinking I should take micro at a jc because I don't want to risk my gpa with the teacher from stan :( @courtcatt Are you still planning to sign up for some classes at StanState as a back up for the fall?

I think they got up to #17 in my class.

I dunno...I have taken everything so I dont think I will. But yah take it at a JC, its cheaper too. If you've taken anatomy/physio you will be FINE with micro..its not bad at all. Ill keep good thoughts for you...Hopefully they will take in the 20's then we can both be in! Im number 6 so I really have my hopes up...if I dont get in I know ill be real upset. But a lot of people say right before school starts a lot of people drop out so maybe you will have an even better chance! Im crossing my fingers for ya :)

I just received an acceptance letter from Stanislaus today. I dont think I will go there tho because I also get accepted into SFSU which is every close to my house. I am giving up my space so one of you guys can take it. Good luck guys :)
