Anyone hear from CSU stanislaus for fall 2010?

Hello everyone. Does anyone know when they send out the decision letters from CSU stanislaus? I got into the ohlone program but it is an associate program and since I'm planning on getting a BSN eventually I would really rather go to a CSU right away than take the long route to get there. The other two CSUs I applied to sent me waiting list letters. I'm happy to be in any program, but I noticed that ohlone doesn't have some things the CSUs have, like a pediatrics class. Any ideas?

Well you sound like you're above me. I have a 3.7 and a 86.7 on the teas. So I sure hope we both get in.

How do we find out our registration date? And shouldn't we automatically get into our classes since we are entered by a program and we're all supposed to stick together?

Thanks for the confidence boost :) But isnt it on a lottery system? SO basically its luck if you get in first time? Yah I have no idea about the registration date...if were trying to get into the nursing program dont we get a set schedule? Or does it depend on your registration date?

I may be getting it confused with a different place, but I'm pretty sure that Stan does a point system. So you get points for your TEAS score, your GPA, and extra things like if you speak another language or live in the area. And I thought that we were on a specific set of classes every semester but I guess (hope) we'll find out later.

@courtcatt Stanstate is a point system like @aubs said. I think you might be referring to MJC. MJC has a lottery system and StanState is based on your gpa and TEAS test. As far as I know about the classes, I know you can take like NURS 1040 (Human Development Over the Lifespan) before entering the program. I took it over fall and was that class easy! But, other than that they have a Nursing Roadmap up on the csustan nursing website if you are interested in taking a look!

I too havent heard back yet... have you since you last posted? I called and they said we would hear for sure by mid may.... do im taking that as this friday. Im going nuts...i cant stop checking the mail and going on this website to see if anyone has gotten a letter. Good luck

yeah i'm pretty sure it's gonna be by this friday cause last year people were hearing around may 15th :/

some of my friends call to verify what time of the month they will notify us and all LORI (she's a sweetheart and the person who always picks up from the nursing depart.) says is that its going to be MID MAY! ugghh It is killing me all this waiting around... They are only selecting 30 people she said.... How nerve wrecking!! Please post if you got in! Good luck ladies!:no::no::no::no:

I wish they told us the date they were going to mail the letters :):) 30 people? I heard they were accepting 40 :( Now, I'm really scared! Post when you guys get your letters! Good luck everyone!

Ah Im glad im not the only one going crazy waiting.... Im stressing that they are only taking 30! What is everyone elses points score out of the 125 on their website? Mine is around 97 I think...dunno if thats gunna cut it :( Good luck!
