I know they said they the next step (interview) won't be till November, but I was wondering, has anyone gotten any response from them so far? Any email besides the acknowledgment after sending your application?
Also, for those who have recently gone through the process, what are your tips to GET THE JOB? .. or what were some of the questions asked during the interview?

Did you get a "nurse manager will call before November 30th" email? The nurse managers have to go thru the applications; I am still waiting. Where did you apply?
Sharp's Nurse Managers have until Nov. 30th to contact everyone. Let's keep the dialog going; who else are we going to voice out frustrations out on? My husband is going as nuts as I am. Never let a brick wall to be your stopping point; it is a lesson and a reason to climb harder next time. I applied for Memorial's Cardiac PCU (Tele)......
Thank you mommalumps!!! I feel the same way! I was just thinking how I can not believe no one is talking about this. So many people have not even responded back. That is not usual. I am feeling like I am the only one waiting for that phone call! It is truly driving me crazy; like I have the patience of a 2 year old!!! I would think that lots of people got that Nov 30th email. Maybe that is a good sign there are not many people on this thread because 90% have been cut?

My point is that regardless to if I get into the New Grad Program, I am still going to apply to sit for the NCLEX. I would rather know something than to know nothing.. I'll just keep the mind-less banter up until I get something.

I was pretty sure I wouldn't get offered a job because I thought I did terribly on my interview but they must've liked me. To all those who have interviews and/or are still waiting and applying, never give up and good luck. Have faith. I've been applying for 3 months and look what happened.

Congrats carlyfry!!! You must be feeling wonderful! You can relax now! At least until you start work!!! You were one of the very very lucky ones. Three months is nothing compared to what most new grads have to wait. Will you be starting soon? Why did you think you did bad on the interview...were there alot of critical thinking questions? Tell us everything you can about the interview!!!

I interviewed Weds at Sharp Memorial & and they said they would let us all know on Monday whether or not we got the position. I am a nervous wreck! I am assuming I didn't get it so if I don't I won't be too heart broken.
Congratulations carlyfry! That was for the Residency program with rotations in the ICU? I had my interview Monday. But I did not hear back (they said they'd let us know by next Wednesday. Just in time to ruin my Thanksgiving!!!).
