Anyone going to the next step with Sharp NEW Grad Program Sept 2009

I know they said they the next step (interview) won't be till November, but I was wondering, has anyone gotten any response from them so far? Any email besides the acknowledgment after sending your application?

Also, for those who have recently gone through the process, what are your tips to GET THE JOB? .. or what were some of the questions asked during the interview?

i know someone who got called for an interview w/ Memorial. but are we talking about your friends getting calls from CV or grossmont?

no no, only mary birch and memorial from what ive heard... however someone in an earlier thread said they were called for an interview from CV...

no there isn't a waiting list. what i said was that they have already applied earlier.. so that's probably why they have a headstart on the program.

Keep me posted if anyone hears that they have already called and interviewed for Chula Vista and/or Grossmont.

Hi everyone...I'm new to the site, so I'm still trying to figure this out. Anyway, I received a call from Grossmont on Tuesday for the residency in ICU/PCU/Tele. I'm not sure what they're looking for, but I graduated with my BSN in may '09, passed the NCLEX in june, and I have certs in ACLS/PALS/BLS. However, I'm sure that the questionnaire we filled out had a lot to do with who was selected for phone interviews...

Congrats! Phone interviews...that is weird! Why, I wonder. Will you have to pass that before they meet you in person? I have a similar background....I hope I get a call.

ohmy... really?? so soon? i thought they were making calls by Nov 13th and not earlier =[ i'm happy for you though kababayan. i applied for Sharp CV too on the same units and hopefully there's still a chance for the rest of us who hasn't been called for interviews yet ='c

Thanks so much. We don't know anybody inside. We both have our BSN though.

This is going to be the longest week ever having to wait for that phone call. I am really wanting to pester them to find out already!!! But, I won't I know they are really busy.

If anyone does call....update us on what they tell you!!!

I graduated with my BSN last year. I only have BLS and planning to get my ACLS later. Presently i am working as a staff RN in a skilled nursing and rehab for more than 6 months already.
