congrats rgrgray, i wanted to know what campus were you accepted into and what is ur point average. i applied at cyfair and i am still waiting for a letter. sorry everyone for the empty thread i sent .

:balloons:

I got accepted into the ADN program at North Harris. I had 11.57 points and North Harris was my first choice.

Well found a out an even better news a month or so ago that me and my husband are expecting our first child right in the middle of Fall 06 so will have to decline my admission and apply for Cy Fair/Kingwood's ADN progam for Spring 07.

Im sure the total points will go down a little bit after ppl like me or those who got into BSN programs decline their admissions.

Best of luck to you all.

Well, congratulations TexanCanadian on your acceptance, and even more congratulations on your baby news!! THAT IS wonderful!! I know you must be so excited!! :balloons:

So, I see that letters must be going out, just curious, who all was accepted, and what were your points. Not sure, I may need to take some courses over this summer, just to boost my gpa..(b's to A's) :uhoh3:

I applied to the three colleges in the district and Montgomery College was my first choice. I got my letter today and was accepted at Mont. having 11.7 points. If you have a B in gen. psyc., a&p, or english comp. then i would really consider retaking these courses to get an A (but don't forget that you can only retake the a&p's once in a five year period in order to be eligible for the nursing program).
