Is there anyone else out there who is currently studying for the CCRN exam and would like to start a thread as perhaps a study and support group? I have just applied for the exam and have not yet set a date, but about in 3 months is when I will be taking it. I would love to be in communication with others in the same boat! I hope there is at least one other nurse out there! Thanks!

and dawn, i close on my house tomorrow! hence why i have not been studying so much lately...this is a lot of work buying a house, especially when you are doing it all alone ;) but very empowering as a young female. :)

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE BEING A HOMEOWNER!! VERY COOL!!

You also have been studying all along and will not doubt pass without difficulty!!

Hey, I think I 've rearranged my schedule to go see Dr Laura! Do you think you may try to come. There is a discounted price for nurses.

Thanks for asking! I don't really know how I will do tommorrow. Some things I think I should know....I get wrong. Amazingly enough the hardest part for me has been the CV part. And that frustrates and ticks me off becasue it should be easy for me...but the way the questions are asked....I am just crossing my fingers and trying to be optimistic. I have studied so much my brain has stopped absorbing it. I am about 70% on the Dennision questions. Honestly, I don't know if I will pass or not. If not, I will know where my weak areas are. I am going to look over my last dennison test rationals and then be done. Think about me at 1300 EST tommorrow. I knew I was stressed when I started crying at some movie the Chiroprator had on the tv this am....:uhoh3::uhoh3:

Congrats on being a new Daddy soon! I have four little monsters (I say that with love) We just moved my baby (2 yo) to his "big boy" racecar bed this weekend.:balloons::balloons:

Good luck CVICURN - but I don't think you need luck to pass

I think you are in great shape judging by your Dennison scores. Yes, the CV questions are hard, aren't they? It is possible to pass and not do well on the CV - I did it.

I will be thinking of you :kiss

Whooo-HOOOO!! I passed by the SKIN of my teeth!! I made a 30% of multisystem????? They asked some cranked up questions, I would have NEVER thought sepsis would almost do me in, I thought that would be pne of my "gimme" parts of the tests. I love sepsis!! And I think every single one of my CV questions was about PACP...but at least I never have to do it again!!!!! They asked a question about Levophed/sepsis that was so wierd...I am trying to remember what it said to look up the rationale. That is about the only question I remember...and I only sort of remember it!!! Thank Goodness for Dr. Lauras analysis of ABG's!!! That helped soo much!!

YAY!! It's over!!! Now, on to the CSC certification!! Thanks everyone!
