Is there anyone else out there who is currently studying for the CCRN exam and would like to start a thread as perhaps a study and support group? I have just applied for the exam and have not yet set a date, but about in 3 months is when I will be taking it. I would love to be in communication with others in the same boat! I hope there is at least one other nurse out there! Thanks!

I love fall colors so that's why I picked October. And the weather is awesome!

Everything is coming together, but I'm starting to get scared that something will go wrong.

We're going to St. Lucia. I can't wait! Let's just pray that there aren't any hurricanes while we're there.

Oh it sounds absolutely wonderous! It will all be fine!! Sounds very romantic!

I'm up to 135/150 now; I review until I understand the rationals on the questions I missed. I'm doing pure dennison cd review now

Anything else i should do before monday? or just stick with the CD?

is the format similar to the actual test? can you go back to questions you already answered to change an answer on the real CCRN?

It dawned on me that you were speaking of your honeymoon, and not your wedding! I thought you were getting married on St Lucia! Lol. I can't think straight anymore.

200 people! Good luck!

Burnt, you are so DONE studying. Quit studying, you are ready my friend. You know the Dennison by heart. If anything, go to the Dr. Laura subject of sepsis. Know the difference down cold between the phases of sepsis!

On the real CCRN, I just left about 3 or 4 answers blank that I was truly unsure of. You can go back at the end of the test and do the blanks. The format is similar to the actual test.

You are ready, my friend! I would just relax and do some non-frantic review of whatever you feel like reviewing. You WILL pass this thing, I promise.

The computer program is more sophisticated on the actual test, you can "flag" questions for yourself that you want to go back and review. It is really nice because you don't need to review the entire exam. You will have your picture taken on the computer itself, which you control. Very cool. Be cool. Wear red! hehehe

Hey Burnt!

How are you doing? When is your test tomorrow? The day before my test I played through a lot of the Dr Laura DVD's because I found her voice comforting! (And I find her attitude refreshing!) Do you have any plans to celebrate all the great accomplishments in your life??!! You are on a roll, to say the least. Have you had any feedback from medical school? Have you taken your MCAT's? Are you still looking at CRNA school?

I feel really fortunate to have met you through this thread, as well as everyone else who has been here, good luck tomorrow my friend!!

All the best

Hey guys, thanks for the encouragement ----

I really have kept it low key this weekend - I actually got to go home at midnight last night (low census) so I got some extra sleep in.

I'm just doing dennison quizzes to warm myself up today- i'll take a complete dennison test tomorrow morning to get myself in the groove. The test is at 130 in Cincinnati (about an hour from where I live).

OK, be sure to check in with us when you get home so we can start the celebration!

Cincinnati!!! I spent 4 years of my life there. I went to school at the UC's College Conservatory of Music, where I received a Bachelor and Master degree in Music! I have lots of great memories from my days in Cinci!! Oh Man! That is so cool. (I was an Oboe Performance major, can you believe it....that seems like a lifetime ago!!)

:lol2::lol2::lol2: it's a small world!
