Anyone else moving into the "Nursing Student" forum next week?

My ABSN program start the day after Memorial Day, and I will officially be a nursing student. I can't believe it is actually here! Anyone else starting Nursing School this summer?

I too am like my fellow Texans who will move over in August!! Hmm, what is it with these Texas schools anyway?!? :lol2: We will be thinking about you and we will s ee you in August! I took my CPR class last week and met students that got accepted to the same school as I but they won't start until Ocotber....I guess because of nursing courses being Flex courses that are 8 weeks long? I am part of the first batch in August...weird, everything is bigger and weirder in Texas LOL

Nursing classes don't start til the end of summer but I should get my official letter in a few weeks, then I'm moving on up to Nursing Student. I pray that every one of us gets through the school year successfully.

My first official day is TODAY!!! Orientation was yesterday. I think I will still check back in this forum from time to time. There are still people in here I like to keep up with and see how things are going.

I can tell ya, there wont be much time for either forum. :lol2: They said yesterday, the summer semesters would be the toughest, so maybe things will lighten up in the fall.

Hang in there guys, time does get past you and it will be your time soon enough.

I will be starting the ADN program in August, and can't wait to start. Have three kids ages 3, 6, and 14, so I hope that I can do this. Congratulations to everyone and good luck!:monkeydance:

I just got my letter!! I am officially a nursing student!! I start at Miami Dade College in August. I can't belive the paperwork I have to fill out. Its almost like I am enlisting in the Coast Guard again.

We only have to take a 1 credit class this summer for 5 or 6 days. I start it tomorrow along with the CPR course needed for the program. Good luck everyone.
