Anyone else go for the name change?

I've found that many of our posters come here with one handle and change. Some reasons:

1. They want anonymity and their handle is too recognizable.

2. Their status changes and they want their name to reflect that.

3. They have a change of heart.

I changed mine from stikynoterightr to cjcsoon2brn. I wanted to indicated the soon to be RN status lol.

I doubt if I would change mine, mainly because it describes me accurately. I would probably confuse myself as well...

I have been coming to allnurses since I was a first year student, which is why my name is firstyearstudent. Now that I have been a nurse for two years now I don't want to change it. I find it interesting how many nurses who post here will criticize my posts because I am "only" a student, even if my post only reflects an opinion about something off topic. As if I'm not entitled to any opinions whatsoever because I'm not a nurse yet. Yes, I am a nurse, working on the hematology unit for a major cancer center.
