I have to pay for my books, but thank god for pell!

So are getting excited yet? Orientation is finally almost here and then we are going to have to turn around and wait for school to start, lol!

I signed up for cpr class Aug 2nd ( my b-day). Can't wait for orientation to get here! Oh btw, went to Walgreens and they were out of all of the 5 cent stuff but I got a couple packs of skinny highlighters for 39 cents each.

Did you buy your book and mouth piece already? If not I would say don't even waste your money. There were like forty people in my class and we were really mad that we didn't use the book. They said because you can study in advance and if you dont have the cpr mask, then you can use one of theres.

I also went to Walgreens, they said there truck was coming and they would have more stuff, so we will see. If not ask for a rain check!

I still havent heard from financial aid! I had to get a bridge loan so they didn't drop my classes. Hope they get this fixed soon.

How did you get a nursing scholarship before you knew you were in the program? How much? I got a scholarship for $1000.00 but is says that i have to be 12 credit hours which I just don't think I can do this semester. What do you guys think?

I knew I was in the nursing program last year, I was supposed to start in Jan 09 but got bumped up. Mine is for at least part time classes for $800.00. I would be worried about taking nursing classes and something else but only you know what you're capable of and Lord knows it's been done before. Do what you feel you'd be comfortable with.
