When I started this thread it was in hopes to see how many people went to DBCC or have graduated from their nursing program.

To your question, YES I got in! I am so excited. Nervous too

Are you going for fall? Day or nights? I'm going nights this fall. I'll be at orientation on the 4th and at the jumpstart thing on the 19th.

I am not sure. I picked fall days in daytona, but really they put you where ever they feel. I will also be at orientation and jumpstart. Do you have all of your stuff done to get in already?

i was told if you asked for nights you'll pretty much get it and nights are only in daytona. I've got everything done execpt my physical. I'm going after orientation since it's not due till the first day of class.

i have a friend who also signed up for nights. I didn't because I have to be able to see my daughter! SHe is in second grade. I haven't done anything except the background check. I am going to the CPR class on the 21 of this month. Where did you go for your course? We will have to meet up at the orientation so we have study buddies!

My son is going to Kindergarten but I still have to work so that's why I picked nights. :crying2: Should be fun anyway. I actually did the first aid course at DBCC last fall semester and that's how I got my BLS card, only thing is I'll have to renew it over Christmas break. Definatly will see you at orientation, I'll be the big dork in the front.

I am moving down to the area in a few weeks, and I am really considering DBCC. I'm hoping that it is a good program!

My daughter is going into the second grade and she has just been accepted into the Gifted program so I have to make sure I am home to help her with all the homework. What school does your son go to? I am going to take the CPR class at the school on the 21 of this month, I think. I waited because I didn't want it to expire while I was in school still.

I am going to try to sit in the front also, but I am not sure how early I am going to have to get there in order to do that.

I am guessing they are going to give us our list of things we need at orientation and our schedules? I was trying to look online at how many days of school we will be there and I only seen one day but it has to be more than that.

Congrats on you daughter getting into the gifted program!! My son is going to be going to Horizon Elementary and I already decided I was going to follow the bus to school his first day. I think we go to school 3 days a week (that's what the night schedule is anyway) Tues, Wed, and Thur. They are supposed to give us our book and supply list and have us register at that time if I'm not mistaken. I'm so excited I could poop.
