  1. wow. you, are my idol. lol btw, what campus are you at next semester?
  2. lol, so im not the only dork who's already getting a head start on next semester!!!
  3. YAY!!! Passed first semester~ I cannot wait to SLEEP!!!!
  4. well, how was it??? better or worse than expected? than finals frenzy?
  5. now im really kicking myself for oversleeping. were there a lot of questions?
  6. I haven't felt the need for a PDA yet. Some schools rave about them (some even require them)- not DBCC. I would spend the money on a really good stethoscope. IMHO.
  7. I missed finals frenzy. How was it? Do you feel like it helped to prepare you for the final? Did they have a sample exam?
  8. I got Deland and plan to be there tomorrow morning. (Since I work nights there is a small chance that fatigue may get the better of me. :zzzzz) MB have you joined the FSNA? Or does the Daytona campus just do more service projects than the other campuses? If not, are you planning to join?
  9. I am so excited to get some sleep in a few weeks!!! I really enjoyed clinicals and my group. I really feel fortunate that (minus one) our group not only hit it off well, but also was all smart/hard workers. Best of all, most of us are in the same group next semester in DeLand. Side note, anyone going to finals frenzy or know what they have planned?? M.B. you're usually up on things, any ideas?
  10. Things sure have seemed to slow down on here. I know I sure have been busy these last few weeks (care plans and all, lol). How are things going for you all? Almost done with the first semester and only one week left of clinicals!!!
  11. I called at 8am and spoke to someone in the nursing office who said they were working on the problem and to keep checking online for them to clear the error. Then I noticed that some of the classes were already filling up online... but I still couldnt get in?! I called the registration office who said I had to have a manual override done and that would require coming to campus... so off I went. I got there and the registration woman took over 25 minutes to help us register. She definitely did NOT take our urgency seriously. When I signed in there were still 9 spots in Tuckers class and 10 in Wheelers, by the time she keyed in my information Tuckers was filled and Wheelers only had a few spots. I guess I should just count myself lucky that she didn't get the 'stop hand registering' memo. I hope that next semester this is settled. Although, I think if I can't register at midnight I will be standing at the doors waiting for them to open at 7:50am. Lesson learned... although it sure would be nice if DSC would take into consideration the nursing program more often. For one of its meal-tickets, it sure seems to be treated like the black sheep.
  12. ok, well at least i finally got back into the site. it doesnt look like anyone has been able to register. which is, pathetically, good news.
  13. i agree. i work overnight and at 8am i will be sleeping... well, i WAS going to be sleeping.
  14. can you guys get in at all now? i cant even get in to the registration part.
