Has anyone appied and been accepted into the RN program at DBCC? If so what was your GPA? How were your NET scores?
I know I shouldn't have done this but I went to the "rate your professor" website and now I'm scared to death. I decided to take classes at night and I'm worried about the professors. Can anyone on nights tell me these ratings are not true!!! Please.....I know sometimes if someone has a bad experience or they weren't prepared for class and ending up doing lousy they tend to blame the teacher. I'm hoping this is the case.
DiChiara is the night person for lecture. Didn't sound too great on rate my professor. Any tips? And for lab it is either her or Corcoran.
Corcoran Corcoran Corcoran. Trust me, she's laid back but knows her stuff. She will work with you. DiChiara..... I wouldn't call those ratings a stretch.
New to the site and I have enjoyed reading this discussion. All I can say is that I am a graduate of Daytona Beach Community College. I was first an LPN and then continued to become an RN. I now have a BSN from UCF and am currently pursuing a MSN. You can do this at DSC (is that what it is called now?) Based on the postings, some things never change! But I just want to let you all know you will achieve your goal and will be able to have the initials "RN" behind your name!
hello everyone
i just wanted to let you guys know that there is going to be a bake sale:bdck:on wed. and there will also be a raffle. tickets are going to be a dollar i believe. there are two thanksgiving dinners; one from heavenly ham and the other from publix, gift certificates from various resturants, and a 50/50 cash drawing.
make sure to purchase your raffle tickets and get your baked good. all proceeds are going to purchase gifts for homeless children for christmas.tickets will be on sale until decemember and we will make sure the night class is able to purchase tickets~
you don't have to be a nursing student to purchase these!
