I know that for most people, it goes that they do better in the prereqs and/or their previous degrees than in nursing school...but I'm the complete opposite. I'm doing at least as well in NS so far as I did in my first year of college (last year), and way better than I ever did in high school (but that's because I did nothing in high school, and didn't care). I'm almost done with my first nursing class, and thus far, my testing average is an 89%. We have one last test to go, so as long as I get a good grade on it, it should stay right around there, and maybe go up a bit.
Anyone else like me?

I am doing better in NS than I did in Pre Reqs. I prefer the tests in nursing school better than I had in my pre reqs, I usually really enjoy clinicals and do well in them. Overall it's been great so far.

Nursing school is much easier for me than pre-reqs were. Much more work (assignments, reading, clinicals, etc) than pre-reqs but I find it much more interesting! In fact, we are going over cardio information in my Med-Surg class and I understand the heart much more than I did in A&P, which is really good because I was really scared I was behind, especially in that area!
I think the biggest motivation is that I am actually understanding what is going on when I am working with a patient. I am putting on my "nurse hat" and can see myself there in the next year! Can't get more exciting than that, right?
