Hi Trinidarky, I am so interested inthis school however it seems to good to be true. My question is this, how hard is the entrance exam? How long was orientation? How was orientation? How does the school look? Any info would be appreciated.

well i currently attend the school, and if u really interested about the school why not go there personnaly and attend an info session instead of taking info from people that mostly knows nothing about the school.

I thought this was the place to get info from correct me if I'm wrong Ruthie. I also asked for info not advice. I know my current situation and I plan n get all the facts before I decide. I would like info not advice so if anyone else would like to help out please do with info only. Thank you.

hey wanttobeanursebadly, the school is great, i havent been to orientation yet because i start in november, i dont think its expensive because nursing books are expensive, the entrance exam to me was very easy but trickly, u have to take your time and read carefully. they told me i got a very high score. to ruthie, ppl just want info i dont think u should say that ppl dont because some of us been there and do know info and is moe than willing to share. mildred elley looks great and sounds great. if you are going to take the entrance exam, make sure you sit down with the tutor first just to make sure u know your stuff, some ppl act all cocky and fail the exam. i really want to know from anyone out there who are currently attending, what classes are you taking? is it difficult? how is the professors? when do u get exams?

You guys do know that at Mildred Elley, only 4 people in the 2009 class took the NCLEX out of 30 students...

The first class graduated August 2009. That is why only four took the exam. A lot of students waited so they could study more or had to wait to save up the $300+ needed to take the exam. The nursing program is new.

Hi to all attending and excepted; and Congrats,

$30K is ALOT of Money. How are you (all) able to finance the program beside Financial Aid? And what about the rigorous loans that you may need to take out? Just curious...

@ Juniebug...I recently went to mildred elley for the info session and everything sounded really good except for when you read the application it states that the "they are still a satellite school" even though the worker said other wise..now I know supposedly that they change but if so then why are they still requiring you to sign an application that states other wise!!
