Anyone Applying to Delta College for Spring 2011

With only 4 weeks until we can start applying, I thought that it would be nice to start a new thread so that we can all keep in touch, pass along information, and post our stats.

I called the insurance place...I believe we add as a CNA and pay..once we are approved we call them and add as a Nursing Student at no extra charge...I assume they will bump up our coverage at that point :nurse: hope that helps

AlyKat- I just called NSO and told them that I need to add that I am student for an RN program and told her that I needed to make sure my liability coverage was at least 1/5. So she added me as a nursing student and then told me to fax over a written statement stating I wanted to change my liability coverage to 1/6...at an additional charge....UGH!!! :uhoh3:

RNBound83 are yours at Kaiser? Are you checking online? I called this a.m. and they won't post the Any of the Hep results online. I called the advice line and the nurse said it does show a complete status but she wouldn't have access to the hep results either those are only avail to the doc. So she emailed the doc for me and put an asap note on it. Sunday evening I emailed my doc but I still haven't had a reply (I actually never get a reply from this doc). I'm just gonna keep on them nonstop!

Regarding books, I am going this morning ;) I can't wait through the break! I might just get all of them too because I only saw about a 20-40 dollar difference of buying used/new (whatever is avail online) and this way I can have them now! hehehe

CaRNwnt2b - Thank you soooo much for your post!!! I was getting worried they might have lost my lab. Good to know they just don't post those results online. I'm calling my doctor now!!!

Thanks for sharing all of the info everyone. So the uniform fitting is the 21st? Did they email everyone about that?
