Anyone Applying to Delta College for Spring 2011

I just go an email today with an attachment for Drug Test. It says Quest Diagnostic in Tracy, so I was wondering if we need to go to Tracy or we can go to any Quest Diagnostic. Did any of you guys do your drug test yet? Also on Hep C does anyone know how long it takes to get result?

Hi SBNRN2B, Thanks for posting the uniform fitting times. I didn't get an email about that. I wonder why? Did anyone else get the email? I can't take English 33, since I'm working F/T now. If something changes between now and then I'll try and add it. I'm hoping to get a p/t job soon because I obviously can't work f/t while in nursing school.

Hi All,

No email for me either regarding uniforms. What is a two step process regarding the TB? I only ever had 1 step, I think??? So glad I have all of you to ask these questions to!

No official email on uniform fittings I had sent an email to the nursing dept because I was freaking out that the dove appearl website said we had to order by the dec 7 and I have never worn scrubs so I was afraid to guess. They responded with those dates. Kwade thanks for the advise on the shoes. The sketchers have some(very little) grey on them you think that's ok? Not all quest diagnostics do the urine screen I went to one in Modesto pm me and I'll give u the address if you prefer that drive instead. Getting excited!!!!

i wanted to ask how we can register for the classes since i dont see the "add section" tab next to the course code? do i have to call and register?

Hi Trina, instead of searching for the class just enter the code that is on the packet we received, that is how I registered for all of the classes. :lol2:

the uniform should be ordered by DEC 17. that's what document checklist says.

and i am wondering whether we have to order uniforms before or after fittings. I Went to my doctor's office today. I gave blood, and they goona do titer. and gonna tell me the results with in 3-4 days. and I went to quest for drug test as well. it takes only 5 mins.

And I choose DAMERON HOSPITAL.for 1st quarter and ST JOSEPHS MEDIC CTR for second quarter. any body register there. let me know.

My Dr told me the Hep C results would only take a couple days. I sent an email asking about the 2 step TB because I had the first today which I go back to have read on Saturday. If I do the 2nd a week later like stated then my 2nd would be read after the deadline. I'm hoping I can spacing them 6 days apart instead of 7 days. Soo much to do in just a few days!! My drug test is tomorrow :-)

I didn't see anything about shoe, are we supposed to order shoe from Dove too. I was just going to go and get some white New Balance. Do we need to get Nursing shoe then? I'm registered at St. Joseph for both Nursing 1&2.

Yes Harry you are right the packet said DEC 17, but dove apparel website said dec 7, so I emailed for clarification. If my return email was correct, we will be in Locke 228. Two step TB is where you get a TB injection, its read 2 days later, they give you another injection and its read a coupled days later. Congrats TrinaJoiz!!!!
